Not sure if the author is faking ignorance or not here... It is clear that they don't know well AI, as everything is mixed here (AlphaZero, autonomous cars, chatGPT, etc.). Just to state the obvious, lottery is random and GPT has no way to predict the numbers; that would actually be a genie or leprechaun move, as the author suggest in the introduction. Anyway, I don't want to spread hate here but I clearly don't see how this ended up in my feed and has more than 1000 claps. I know medium is a blog platform, not a scientific journal, but that feels wrong.
